Professional Pet Groomers

Petcare Associates (Kennel Techs) – full time/part time

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Handle, process, assess, feed, water, and monitor the disposition of all animals in our care
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and equipment in a sanitary manner; perform on-going and preventive maintenance tasks associated with shelter facilities and equipment
  • Provide prompt, courteous customer service, greeting the public as they enter the shelter, and assist customers in selecting services that they need.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Professional Dog Trainer:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pet parents with exceptional Dog Training instruction and customer service.
  • Promote science based positive training philosophies and ensure a safe dog training environment for pet parents and guests.
  • Maintain ethical standards while working with dogs and pet parents.
  • Develop training plans for pet parents and their dogs and work to increase the use of positive reinforcement and eliminate the use of punishment
  • Focus on providing positive training solutions and when it comes to unwanted behaviors, teach the dogs what we want them to do instead
  • Provide quick and courteous service to all Pawtown guest customers by determining their needs and sharing product knowledge and dog training recommendations
  • Adhere to and promote established safety and loss prevention procedures

Pet Daycare Manager

Responsibilities:

Operations
  • Maintain our highest industry standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Manage staff to ensure timely open & close of facility each day.
  • Ensure safety and cleaning operations are being maintained at Pawtown’s highest standards, while always addressing areas for improvement within the facility.
  • Manage inventory and maintenance needs for facility.
  • Identify dogs with behavior issues, and work with pet owner/ trainers on behavior modification plans and dismissals, and manage operational needs for all dogs in the facility.

Customer Service & Presentation
  • Act as the face of Pawtown with customers on daily basis.
  • Conduct tours for new and prospective families.
  • Assist with business growth.
  • Manage issues/needs that come up with customers.
  • Maintain a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times.
  • Set example for team on internal and external customer service standards.
  • Strive for high customer review ratings.

Staffing
  • Help with all hiring.
  • Onboard, train, and manage all staff members.
  • Create staffing schedule and maintain optimum daily staffing.
  • Supervise staff execution of daily operations.
  • Lead by example via coaching the team on contributing to a positive team-oriented culture, and drive development of all employees.
  • Deliver written performance reviews and give employees positive acknowledgement.
  • Keep team engaged and motivated each day.
